Learn MoreAbout Us
In the northern part of Bangladesh in Kurigram district, there are about 5 lakh poor people living in the temporary islands that have developed in the mighty Brahmaputra River and on the banks of swamps.
The overall condition of social, economic, political, educational, health values of these poor people is almost going to be endangered. In order to get out of such a delicate situation, the socio-economic development requires human welfare, education, health, medical care and environment protection.
In this realization, a non-political and voluntary social welfare organization named "CHAYA" (Center for Helping to Activate Youth and Adult) started its activities in Kurigram district on 10th February 2015.
